Overview
Le Terrier is a 15th century restored presbytery situated in Montaillac, a hamlet with a church. The nearest village of Loubes Bernac is a 2 minute drive or an easy 20 minute walk away.
The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, there is an acre of gardens, a swimming pool (10 x 5 m) and a good outdoor dining area with table and chairs and a BBQ as well as breathtaking views over uninterrupted countryside. Golf is available 15 minutes away at Château des Vigiers and tennis in Eymet again 15 minutes away
Accommodation
The house (300m2) is ideal for a maximum of 8 people Bedrooms: 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms. One double room is situated downstairs (ideal for anyone who finds it hard to do stairs . It has a showerroom with shower, wc and handbasin. The master double bedded room upstairs and a twin bedded room each have an ensuite showerroom with shower, WC and basin the master has an exit outside down the stones stairs to the garden. There is also a second smaller twin bedded room There is a separate wc.There is a folding bed and childrens cots and the twon bedded room is big enough to add another single bed The house has a large entrance/dining room, a newly installed kitchen and a comfortable sitting room with french doors opening onto the garden and endless views as well as an atelier with wonderful views and a mezzanine area not in use yet but there is a second kitchen here with washing machine and dryer
There is a good mobile signal in the house and internet with Wifi access
Local Activities
In Loubes Bernac there is a restaurant which is open most lunchtimes and evenings at the weekend, and you are surrounded by several vineyards within a 5 min drive, so stocking up for all your wine needs is very well catered for.
The nearest supermarket is 15 minutes in the car, in either Eymet, Duras or Ste Foy la Grande or Sigoules; all of which are lovely and lively towns and are definitely worth visiting. The whole area is full of great food, very pretty villages and superb food and wine. It is also well positioned for Bordeaux, and Saint. Emilion.

Driving: via channel tunnel/ferry into channel ports 8/10 hours, Calais
Portsmouth/St Malo ferry crossing leaves you the shortest drive this side - 6½ hours approximately)
